It is a rare occasion when I can grab my two kids in one picture.. so I just snapped... Before the night.. It was cheerleader outfit, Little Mermaid with fins, then it became Little Mermaid after she lost her fins and married prince Eric.. :)

Ryder pretty much lost the scarf, the hat and the outfit a bit later... Too much candy, too scary for Ryder, but overall a fun filled non-sugar free night...

I'm all giggily as I post this....

Guess who was in the paper today? ha.. little o' me...
To my surprise, I get an e-mail from a Michelle E. Ramos, a journalist for the Redlands Daily Facts newspaper, wanting to interview me for the next day edition....
Blown away with surprise.. Jittery, nervous,excited, the house needed a good wipe through.. I say "Yes, of course, come on by at 12:00"...:) Yikes, nervous...

I rambled on and on not knowing exactly what content she was going to go with, I just kept rambling....
The paper arrived in the later part of afternoon today.. here it is on the web...

Meet Katie.....

How precious is this little one? I am now officially addicted to newborns... :)

What is so great about my job is that I get to hold, touch, smell, swaddle those little ones for the moments I am there to photograph...and I love it....it just brings back all those sleepless nights... Ha!...JK

When I get back home from these sessions.. I am always on cloud nine... My husband always gives me the look like
"don't get any ideas, Gina"...ha.. I just laugh... Aaahh!.. It is fun while it lasted..... Honestly.. I really do love sleeping through the night now.. ;) (giggles)

Our lollipop kids....

Well, I think this will be the first weekend I have had off in such a long time and I am going to enjoy every minute of it ;)... Saturday, Madeleine is having her fall festival at school, and I am part of the decorating committee for the class booth.. Oh! this will be fun... and it's a lollipop booth.. how perfect is that... Color!!!....

I was able to take pictures of all the kids with a lollipop, so I hope it turns out fun and bright as I imagine it to be...... :)





Sunday, I did have a session planned, but we postponed for a later date, so we are taking Madeleine to see...... wait for it...! Bam!...

when you have a daughter that is counting the days till.. you have no choice.. ;)

how lucky am I?

pretty lucky...I think I have the best clients, which I like to call friends of all time...:)

Sandra is an Account Executive for Clinique cosmetics here on the West Coast and she is getting married next year. She and her fiance came over for a consultation, I offer her a glass a wine and she gives me this....

SWEEEEET..... I think that was a unfair trade on my part. wink!...:)

My tried and true of all time...I use to work for the company for many years.. Oh, how I miss my gratis... Thank you Sandra... You just Rock!...


Oh, by the way.. There WAS some skin care supplies for men in the batch, but Chris snaked those right up ;0...Thanks again Sandra...

Another awesome family I had the privilege of documenting.....We decided to meet at the half way point for both of us which meant Old Pasadena, Ca.. Oh! how fun this would be...;)
The heart of an old city. Old brick buildings, cool textures and some really loud music...:) Love it.......

Little "N" was so captivated with the beat of the music, I knew I had to act quick because he was off to see the world in a big hurry.....
and who could blame him..... There is so much to see...

He sure kept me on my toes though, but so worth it to get those beautiful big blue eyes of his... Wouldn't you agree?

I have been meaning to blog about the rest of the workshop,I am just trying to get caught up, edit, deliver prints, send out proofs, make sure the kids are fed.. you know.. all that important stuff.. ;) I am slacking on the blog lately...yikes...

well. as you can see from our "get tha funk out workshop", we ate like Queen's in our beach house, thanks to Jo for hooking us up with the accommodations... It was sweeet...
