It is always fun second shooting a wedding, and shooting with Kool Kat Joanne Distaso, I knew it would be a great time... The last time I second shot for her,
I had a blast and knew this day would be nothing short of beautiful people, a whole lot of love, and gorgeous details... Thanks girl.. always fun hanging with you and learning from you.. ;)

yes, I do.. and I always love helping friends out...I had an amazing time at this wedding, as you will see why.. Beautiful couple, beautiful venue, beautiful color, and a chance to hang out with some awesome friends... yup..twist my arm and I'm there... oh! and the food... yumm-o....

how lucky am I?

pretty lucky...I think I have the best clients, which I like to call friends of all time...:)

Sandra is an Account Executive for Clinique cosmetics here on the West Coast and she is getting married next year. She and her fiance came over for a consultation, I offer her a glass a wine and she gives me this....

SWEEEEET..... I think that was a unfair trade on my part. wink!...:)

My tried and true of all time...I use to work for the company for many years.. Oh, how I miss my gratis... Thank you Sandra... You just Rock!...


Oh, by the way.. There WAS some skin care supplies for men in the batch, but Chris snaked those right up ;0...Thanks again Sandra...

Martha Green's

Do I love weddings?... sure do....
Do I love wedding cake?... oh baby... Yes! I do....

So if you have me as your wedding photographer, 95% chance I will eat a slice of your wedding cake, even if I politely refuse when asked... :) and maybe two if it is from Martha Green's

So, I thank you in advance... :) Yum....

and if you live in the Inland Empire and have not heard of Martha Green's, get out from under that rock, because you are missing out...

I had the opportunity to visit, photograph and see the behind the scenes of the designing of a wedding cake, a birthday cake and a over the hill cake...

what a fabulous group of ladies I met behind all that sugar and dough.. you too J.R.... :)

Below you will see that they do offer more than just cakes, within Martha Green's Dough'lectibles, there is a full pastry bar and bakery, The Eating Room, rustic tea time, and the Bloom Room... and the colors in there.. WOW!... you will instantly light up... the room just make you happy and giggly.... ;)

The second shot....

I am so lucky to be in a industry where I have the opportunities to meet and network with other photographers in the area... It is so nice to share ideas, talk about managing our time and to hear ideas on what works, what doesn't work and how we can make room for improvements. I feel so lucky that I have made wonderful new friends in the process...

I had the opportunity to second shoot with the talented Julie, from Julie Weaver Photography....it is awesome to be asked by other photographers to come and help them out... see, that is another great thing about our industry...( we love to help each other out).. Seeing other photographers work an event or session is very humbiling and inspiring all at the same time.... So thanks Julie for asking, and it was so much fun hanging out with you...

Lisa and Tommy had an all day affair..(wedding ceremony, tea ceremony and the big reception) so much fun...I was on detail patrol and happy to do so.. Love the details...here are a few from their day...
