Last and final task....

for Contest 2008... Ok...Task 4

Take a picture of yourself doing something you have never done before. Pretty easy huh! Well, I know I have been wanting to do many things this year that I have never done before, but now I have only 12 days to do it. Maybe a little more pressure to do it, but it will mark one more thing off my list to do in 2008. Yippee... and I think if we all set more goals and deadlines for ourselves in the future, we will be able to accomplish a little more than we thought we could a little faster.

It is all about starting the year off right, right? What better time to do this than now... Ha! Well, I have given you all 4 tasks and I sure hope you are having fun with all of them. This contest is meant to be fun, but at the same time, I hope you feel a little bit inspired to do many more things this coming year than you may have never thought of before, or just kind of put on the back burner--I know I have.

For me, I know if I write it down and tell the rest of the world what my goals are, I feel like I will be more accountable for them. I am excited to show you my entry and am so excited to see all of yours.

Contest 2008 update....

As one of our goals for 2008, we are going to donate and give more of our time to certain causes we believe in, and that is where task 3 comes in for Contest 2008. We would like to hear about your donations / or time you will be involved in this year. Donate 10.00 or more/ or your time to a special cause or program you believe in and tell us about it and why you chose it. It can be any organization, charity or a cause you feel strongly about. This will be strictly on the honor system. We believe in you…

Goodbye birds.....

goodbye fairies and goodbye tree... Oh Yes. it is the 11th of Jan. and my Christmas tree is still up. I know! I know! I have been procrastinating doing the deed, but it must come down this weekend. But I must admit, I hate to see it go.... Some people may call it unique or just a palm tree, but I call it my fairy merry umbrella Christmas tree, and it just makes me happy to see all lit up even in the middle of the day. Ok! with that said.... I am off to get all the crates and boxes from the garage and say goodbye. Till next Christmas, my tree.... You will be missed :) Stay tuned for Task 3 and 4. Contest 2008 update....

Alright fun people out there! Below you will find task #2 for Contest 2008. Get those creative minds rolling because this will take some imagination on your part, but it will be so much fun.

Task 2:
What’s your story? This is the task where you tell us about the short film you would like to see your child (or children) star in. Be descriptive. Be creative. Tell us what your blockbuster short film is all about, and then snap a cool picture of your main stars. (Creativity gets bonus points) ;) Check back in a couple days for task #3

one great afternoon.....

I asked Madeleine what she wanted to do today and she said, "Let's go to the park" and off to the park we go. I did take my camera along and here are a few of my faves of the day. Contest 2008

Hi everyone, Onward Films and Gina Lee Photography are here to announce our very first contest of 2008. How fun this will be, so make sure to tell all your friends about it, the more the merrier...

The prize: A free session with Gina Lee Photography, One 11x14 masonite print and all the negatives to go along with. And that's not all!!! Onward Films will be giving your family a really cool short video starring your child/children to be the stars in their very own film. To see an example, visit Onward Films and go to videos/children and take a peek at Sir John Bradley. How cool is that??? Oh! One more thing. There is an extra bonus at the end of this for the winner... But that is still TOP SECRET!

There will be 4 tasks in all, so get ready to get your creative minds rolling. The deadline for the contest will be Jan. 26th at midnight. All submissions can be e-mailed to gina@ginaleephoto.com. The winner will be announced that following week.

Task 1: Since it is the new year and many of us have set some new goals (some may say resolutions for the new year), I thought it would be fun to ask you to take a self-portrait that reflects one of your goals for the year 2008. Your picture must have 2008 in it somewhere. Creativity is recommended! :) We will be right along with you doing the same task. Check back in a couple days to view task #2.

hi there....

I am having some server and e-mail issues,so please bare with me as I try to resolve these issues. And my first session of 2008 looks like it is going to be rained out. BOO! HOO!... I am so sad. But, in the meantime. Onward films and myself will be announcing the contest rules for the first contest of 2008 and all the fun stuff that goes along with it this weekend, so stay tuned for that.
Oh! one more thing... Can anyone help me with the pacifier issue? We are try to wean my little guy off the paci, but as you can see, not working. Any tips, suggestions are welcome. Thanks! :)
