Meghan, a natural born model, she is pretty used to the camera since her Aunt is a professional photographer as well (more on Kristen, coming soon) ;), and her lil' sis, Miss Abby.. She really wanted to do her own thing this time.. that was just fine...I have to work on their terms... but it was all fun...

Oh Jenny... you are well on your way!!!!!

I am so proud of Jenny (my intern)... I just had to share some of her amazing images with all of you....

One thing I love about working with Jenny (because there are many), is that Jenny is shooting like Jenny ... Yes!.. although she is interning with me, Jenny has her own unique style, her own vision and definitely her own creativity. She see things differently through her lens ... I feel so blessed that I get to spend time with her, because I am the one actually getting inspired through her...and I love it...

Isn't that a great thing about photography, is that we all see something different through our lenses? and we get to share it with others... I think so...;)

so this is to all you aspiring photographers out there... Follow your dreams, shoot the way you want to shoot... and practice, practice, practice with what you have first... it's not all about the latest and greatest camera out there, or the best L glass you can find... it's really all about you, the person holding the camera... your camera is just your tool.... It's what you do with it that will make all the difference...

If there is one thing that makes me real happy in my business, it's the fact that I have the most amazing clients ever.... I feel pretty happy when they call me year after year to photograph their family and their children.

I also feel very lucky and can't help but feel a sense of pride that they are pretty happy with the results that keeps them coming back for more...

yes, I know.. pretty pictures are a must (of, course).. but a kinda quirky, kinda kid like, funny and somewhat talented photographer( hee, hee.. giggles) that you know by name goes with the experience as well.. and I must say... yes!!! I am having the most fun of all but happy they are having just as much fun with me... :)


So, with that...THANK YOU amazing clients, THANK YOU amazing children.. THANK YOU for trusting me with your most treasured memories... it really means the world to me that you enjoy spending time with silly ol' me... ;)

Gina Lee Photography Hijacked...

Hello, this is Madeleine here. Ryder and I have officially hijacked the Gina Lee Photography Blog (for 24 hours) in lieu of Mother's Day because we want to tell the world just how much our mom means to us. Dad said this is the World Wide Web, so we're assuming this is connected to the rest of the world, but I can't be too sure about him sometimes.

Here is a movie that Ryder made for Mom. It's actually his first starring role. We hope you enjoy the film, and we also hope that all the mothers out there reading this have a terrific Mother's Day.

But most of all, we just want to say HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY MOMMY. Thank you for being such a wonderful mother to us each and every day, and we're not just saying that because you give us ice cream and other little goodies. You are the best mom in the whole world wide web.

I only say this because this was my first time photographing these two, and it was so much fun..

Sometimes, the little older kids really don't know what to expect when they come out on a session with me...but I think they were pleasantly surprised that I had a little bit of the "coolness" factor... Ha! but seriously... what a blast, and I think they had just as much fun... :)
