Baby Fresh... | Redlands Photographer

She smelled fresh and she felt fresh, .. aaaaaaaaah!!!! love the newbies that come through here.. :)

Meet Miss Jane... ;)

I'm Back....

yeah... I know.. I took a little bit of a hiatus from the blog world over the holidays.. and not because I had some lack of blogging to do, or don't enjoy sharing all the happenings going on here.... but more to the fact that I did not want to lack on any of my family time during the holiday seasons... As my kids are getting older, I just wanted to make sure going forward that I don't miss out on anything that is going on with them... They are growing so fast, and I don't want to miss a minute of it.. :)

but now that kids are back in school and I have a bit of more time to dedicate to this bloggity blog... :) thanks for following along and I will have more fun peeks coming soon.. ;)

Over the break I had the chance to photograph these beautiful families over at the ranch, all related and nothing but a good time.. :) Enjoy!

Jenny... | Redlands Photographer

How many ways can I say "I love this girl"?.. I have no idea.. But I keep finding ways... :)

Jenny started as my intern and is still doing amazing things with me, but she has come such a long way that she is now venturing off on her own and spreading her wings... She is now in her senior year of high school, ASB president, and a awesome photographer among many other things... I am so, so proud of this girl in so many ways...

Jenny, whatever you do in your life, you are going to be amazing at it.. I am so proud.. :)

Rock your gorgeous hair, girlfriend.. :)

Two Kisses for Maddy...

and so much more.. :)

if you have not had a chance to pick up my friend Matt Logelin's book.. go do so now.. ;) you will be be so moved and also inspired by his touching story.. (and if I may add, his book recently is on The New York's Best seller List!!!!!! Go Matt!!!!)

I first met Matt when his daughter Madeline was first born, but at the same time, he was grieving over the loss of his beautiful wife Liz, who had just passed 27 hours after giving birth... He has been through many emotions through this time, but I am so proud of his accomplishments and his journey that took him to write his story and to share with all of us.

I have photographed Matt and Madeline on a few occasions and when he asked for one of the pictures I took to be the cover of his book.. I was completely honored to say the least...

Matt, I am so proud to call you a friend and we will continue to follow your journey to see what is in store for you next.

To continue to follow his journey, visit his blog here.

above images were taken at Barnes and Noble with my iphone, too excited not too take a pic, but too shy to take out the big guns.. ha!!!

How I love this family, and I have only spent one afternoon with them. You know when you get that vibe where it just clicks?.. Well, it clicked.. I felt like I can totally hang out with this family on any other occasion now.. :) .. and thats a great feeling when I have clients like these.. ;)

and then I get this email a day after our session, not having seen one picture that I'd had taken yet...Wow!
I was moved... :)
See, we both felt that vibe... :)

Thank you Alx.. :)

Good morning!! I just wanted to take the time to thank u from the bottom of my heart yesterday was a very special day for us I have been waiting 7 years to be able to take family pictures!! I know a lot of your customers probably love the experience of taking family pictures & thank you but I have to say that the couples that go through what ray & I went through to have Kahrissa see it beyond just taking pictures it's an experience that just not anyone can capture I feel so blessed to have found you because I knew from not only your profolio but by your bio- & your blog the way you speak/write about your kids is what touched my heart, we come from a family that strongly believes in feeling vibes with people or should i say have that gift to be able to feel when people are really good people & yesterday when we met u the minute I seen you I felt that warmth in my heart right away & when kahrissa seen you that was the icing on my cake!! My husband doesn't say much so when he does it's BIG!! & he even said he felt like he knew u forever!! I can't thank you enough I wish I was rich so I can pay you double but even than money couldn't pay you enough for the amazing talent/spirt you have to be able to make someone feel the way you do I wish you much success & I pray that the GOOD LORD gives you good health & strength to be able to do this for as long as you can, your family is very lucky/blessed to have you as their mother & wife! Thank you once again, Take care Have a great new years!! Can't wait to see our pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
