the rest of Tuesday....

Just beautiful....this is a SOOC shot...I just love it... this is what we get to see every day around 7ish from our front yard.. Oh, how I love the light...;)
just makes me smile...

Tuesday...so far....

I wake up Tuesday morning knowing what was in store for the day...it was haircut day.. not just any haircut day.. Ryder's very first haircut day... Wow... What would that be like?... Should we even go? Yes, we have a 9am appointment, Should I even take my camera? dumb question :)...... He is not going to step foot in there... I doubt he will even sit for a second... oh boy, here we go.....

Me: Ryder, we are going to get a haircut today...
Ryder: (just smiles)
Me: Do you want to get a haircut today?
Ryder: Yeah!!!!!!!!! (really loud)
Me: REALLY! you want to go sit down and get your haircut?
Ryder: Yeaaah!!!! (really loud, again)
Me: okay, lets go...(thinking) it can not be that easy... out we go...

we arrive at the salon... all the girls coo over him... he just loves it, that little flirt... really, not knowing what was in store...

Tiffany was so great, she introduces herself.. Ryder just follows her to the seat.. and here is the rest...

We are going to McDonald's after...

I guess I should never underestimate my kids.. never again...I guess we just never know...

I could not bare seeing it all off, so it was more like a big boy trim, than a full on haircut... just a tad off the bottom.. Thanks Tiffany.. You were so awesome and so patient with Ryder.. we do appreciate it... Considering he was a first timer, he did a okay... ;)



and then we came home to pick the winner for the contest... Ryder did such an awesome job.. we had all the names in a Tupperware bowl and then he dumped them on the floor and picked a winner........ drum roll please...totally legit...;)

really, thank you...To be honest, I knew there was a few people that are my local readers.. Michelle, My #1 fan and best friend. Emily, a new and dear friend, some readers from Matt's blog and a couple others.. but honestly, I really did not know you were all out there... Thank you for your kind comments and very nice e-mails.. I really do appreciate all of you. It does make me feel good that you are lurking and do take an interest in me and my work.. thank you!!!!

The winner will be selected sometime on Tuesday and I think I will need my 2 year old little guy to help me to make it fair... up and down.. up and down.. ;) we will see how that goes..Should be interesting... or maybe we should put names in a hat.. any ideas out there to make it fair and fun???

Is anybody out there?

really, is anybody out there?... I feel like I am all by my lonesome here.... I do write this journal as a way to give sneak peeks to my clients, but also a way to write about daily happenings inside and outside of work, and also to give you a little inside about me, but I have been a little busy with more work related projects, I rarely let you have a glimpse into my personal world... I will do much better on that.. promise.. because I feel as a professional photographer, it is important that you do get to know me and who I am.. after all we will be spending quality time together, right? but are you out there? or am I just writing for myself.. I guess it is ok if I am, but I would like to know who is out there visiting me if anybody is at all... ;0

Ben was so welcoming the moment I stepped into his home and then into his room... He had my full attention.. I just wanted to play with him in his room with all his cool power rangers and transformers, but I came to take pictures, so out we went... this was such a fun session for the kids and myself... I only wish I had an underwater camera for the day.. there was too much sun, so much water and tons of fun... I would of jumped right in with them.... next time I will.. ;)
