Chicago...

I recently just attended a photography workshop in Chicago, and it was amazing. I am so excited to put everything I learned from this workshop and take my business to the next level. I will share some photos from the workshop and photos from the skylines of Chicago on my next post. I just have a liitle bit of catching up to do first.

Wow, I forgot how fast 3 year olds can be. I photographed beautiful Ava over the weekend. She sure has stepped up her speed since the first time I photographed her at 1 years old. I have been shooting her(in the Photography sense, of course)for her birthday every year now, and she sure moves fast. One minute she is right in front of me and the next she is clear on the other side. I managed to capture her personality though. Even her scrunchy face. :) Happy 3rd birthday Ava. And thank you Nicole for that wonderful apple pie. DELICIOUS...

Hayden and Lenny

I had the privelage of photographing this amazing couple on thier wedding day in Lake Arrowhead. The bride looked stunning, the details were awesome and the groom looked very slick with his cool black chucks.Thank you for letting me be a part of your big day. Here are some pictures of the day.

Endless Summer

This can not be the end of Summer already...Can it? I wish it could be summer all year long.Although, my husband would disagree on that one. Christmas time is his season.(have you see our house during this time?) If not, come by and you will see what I mean. Madeleine started her first day of pre-school last Monday(Pictures coming soon.)and Ryder is trying to get back to his normal sleeping schedule. I can say though, this has been one of our best summers yet. The kids really enjoyed themselves and with Ryder all over the place, we all had a blast...Here are some of the last summer pictures we took....

Can life get any better. Not for these new moms and dads. I had the privilege of photographing some of the newest little people in town. When I talk to these moms and dads as we are getting the babies ready for their first photo shoot, I can help but smile. I smile because I see the true happiness in their eyes . I can see that they are truly happy and know that they have been so blessed with these tiny little miracles.Thank you Mommy's and Daddy's for letting me capture the most precious thing to you in the whole wide world. Your love.

As I sat down today to write an entry for my blog, I was overwhelmed by the thought that I think I have come so far with my business in this last few years, and I’m looking forward to taking it even further as I try out new and creative ways to please my clients. I guess I have always come from the school of thought, that in order to be successful at what I do, I should just be myself and enjoy what I do. So, in a way, I have just always measured my success according to whether I can wake up every day and go on a photo shoot and find real happiness in what I do. If not, why bother, right? That’s why I feel so lucky to be doing what I do, and I have so many people to thank for helping me get where I am today. So many friends, families and clients have offered endless support (and referrals, thank you), and to all of you, I sincerely thank you. As a show of thanks, I have put together a little slideshow featuring those who have been so gracious with their support over the past couple years. By no means, is this everybody. I recently had the privilege of photographing one of the cutest babies in town. Baby "M". Her eyes were wide open. She was just taking in every scent with her little nose and every touch on those tiny little hands. What a miracle. Precious...
